Although at times, the two terms are used interchangeably when describing organic products like tinctures, salves, and oils, both CBD oil and hemp oil are actually quite different. The main thing that sets them apart is that hemp oil is extracted from the hemp plant seed and contains little to no CBD in it.
On the other hand, CBD oil is an extract from the flower of the hemp plant and contains a variety of healing properties, but none of the psychoactive effects of marijuana.
